Os enseño un traje sastre de tres piezas que tengo desde hace dos temporadas, compuesto por: una americana , una falda y un pantalón, todo del mismo tejido, y al que le he sacado y le sigo sacando mucho partido.
I show a boy's suit of three pieces, which I have for the last two seasons, consisting of: a blazer, a skirt and a pair ofpants, all of the same fabric, and that i wear a lot.

Hoy quiero mostraros el trabajo de la diseñadora lisboeta "Alexandra Moura", una diseñadora consolidada como uno de los grandes valores del diseño luso contemporáneo.
Ha prensentado sus colecciones en multitud de Pasarelas europeas e internacionales, y el libro "The Young European Fashion Designers" menciona a Alexandra como una de las diseñadoras jóvenes con más impacto en el futuro del mundo de la moda.
Today I want to show the work of the Lisbon designer Alexandra Moura consolidated as one of the great values of the Portuguese contemporary design.
She has launched her collections in many European and international catwalks, and the book The Young European Fashion Designers has mentioned Alexandra as one of the young designers with more impact on the future of the fashion world.
-¿Cómo fueron sus comienzos en el mundo de la moda?
Como todo en la vida, cada paso es importante, pero uno de los pasos a destacar en mi vida en el mundo de la moda, fue la posibilidad de integrar el calendario oficial en Moda Lisboa Fashion Week, donde todo cambio a un nivel verdaderamente profesional y tuve la oportunidad de empezar a dar pasos en la expansión o internacionalización de la marca.
-How do you remember your start in the fashion world?
Like everything in life, all steps are important steps, but one of the biggest highlights of my life in the fashion world, was the possibility to integrate the official calendar in ModaLisboa-Lisbon FashionWeek, where everything came to be at a level truly professional and gave me the chance to be able to start taking the first steps in my internationalization.
-¿Que impulsa sus diseños?
Una foto, una persona, un objeto, una sensación, un sentimiento. Todo la belleza a través de mis ojos, todo lo que capto alrededor del mundo, otra dimensión que me hace soñar y me da el poder de obtener nuevas ideas.
- How do you get the inspiration?
A photo, a person, an object, a sensation, a feeling. Everything that is beautiful through my eyes, everything that have the capability to put me on another world, another dimension, that makes me dream and gives me the power to have ideas.
-¿Recuerdas la primera pieza que creastes?
Sin duda, las recuerdo todas.
-Do you remember the first piece that you créate?
No doubt, I remember them all!
- ¿ A qué tipo de hombre y mujer se dirige Alexandra Moura?¿Qué diferencia a Alexandra Moura del resto de propuestas que podemos encontrar en el mercado?
Mi trabajo se caracteriza por lo moderno, rebelde, adulto, el estilo urbano , cuidando cada detalle, la calidad , la atención y la presentación del producto. Quiero que mi trabajo transmita un concepto en el que se le preste especial atención a la singularidad y el producto es siempre visto como una intervención en la que no se hace hincapié en el aspecto comercial. Siempre me gusta personalizar las piezas con pequeños detalles que de alguna manera les da singularidad. Es mi manera de apreciar las piezas y los hacen únicos.
- What differentiates Alexandra Moura's proposals from other fashion designers that we can find in the market? how is the man and the woman who dress Alexandra Moura?
My work is characterized by a modern, rebellious, adult, urban style with the use of hand and detail with a small-scale production governed by a standard of high quality care in a special presentation of the product. I want my work to convey a concept in which the focus is given to the uniqueness and the product is always seen as an intervention in which the commercial aspect is not emphasized. I always like to customize the pieces with small details that somehow gives them uniqueness. It's my way to cherish the pieces and make them unique.
- Nos confiesas un momento sublime vivido en el mundo de la moda.
Una pregunta díficil de responder, para una persona tan emocional como yo, hay momentos que marcaron mi carrera, y que en su momento fueron fantásticos.
- Would you confess us a fantastic moment that you have lived in the fashion world?
It is a difficult question to answer, as emotional person that I am, too were the moments that marked me and that in his time were fantastic.
- ¿Tienes alguna musa?
No. Todo el mundo puede llegar a ser mi inspiración en un punto de mi proceso.
-Do you have any muse?
No. Everyone can become my inspiration at one point of my process.
- Vincci, una DJ muy famosa en Hong Kong, apareció recientemente en un magazine vistiendo una camisa de la colección otoño invierno de Alexandra Moura. ¿Que significa esto para Alexandra Moura?
Es maravilloso, ¡estoy muy feliz y orgullosa! .
- Vincci, a popular DJ in Hong Kong, recently appears in a fashion magazine wearing ALEXANDRA MOURA’s F/W13_14 blouse. What do you feel about this?
I think it's wonderful. I feel very happy and very honored!
-Las redes sociales permiten divulgar el trabajo de creativos y diseñadores a un público más grande y en diferentes lugares del mundo ¿soléis utilizar las redes sociales para promocionar vuestro trabajo?
La redes sociales han adquirido un papel importante en la expansión de una firma. Especialmente a nivel internacional, donde queremos incrementar la presencia. Es muy importante comunicar al mundo lo que creamos, y las redes sociales nos permiten un alcance mundial.
-Social networks allow to disseminate the work of creative designers to a larger group of people and in different parts of the world. do you do you usually use social networks to promote your work? or how You use social media to promote your work ?
Social networks have an increasingly important role in the expansion of a brand. Specially at an international level, where we want to be increasingly present. I´ts very important to communicate to the world what we create, and social networks allows us to reach the all world.
- Si con un vestido tuvieses que definir el momento actual de la moda en Lisboa ¿ cómo lo harías?
Sería un vestido con silueta desestructurada, con detalles de superposiciones donde la paleta de grises se manifestaría.
- If you have to describe the current situation of the Fashion World in Lisbon with a dress . how would you do?
That dress would have a deconstructed silhouette, with some details of overlaps where the palette of grays would manifest.
-¿Que podemos encontrarnos en tu colección para esta primavera verano 2014?
Una colección con un concepto muy fuerte, que viaja entre una tribu de Handramaut, en Yemen, y la obra del pintor portugués colección Victor Pires Vieira. Con una silueta fuerte donde prevalecen el azul y el negro. Los detalles más clásicos mezclados con los más deportivos, dandole a la colección un aire sofisticado, urbano y contemporáneo.
-What can we expect in your upcoming collection?
A collection with a very strong concept, it travels between a tribe of Handramaut, in Yemen, and the work of the Portuguese painter Victor Pires Vieira.A collection with a strong silhouette where the Black and Blue Indigo prevail. The most classic details blend with the most sport, bringing the collection a sophisticated, urban and very contemporary language.

They are available in our concept store, Alexandra Moura MA+S (R. Dom Pedro V, 77 Lisboa), and also in the Asian Market. Very soon we will be in other European cities and also online.
-Y por último ¿Dónde te gustaría ver desfilar tus colecciones?
En una capital europea como londres o en Asia, en lugares como Hong Kong y Tokio.

In a European capital like London and certainly in Asia, Hong Kong and Tokyo.
