Hoy tuve el placer de pasar una tarde en el Showroom de Manik Your Design con Mariel. ¿ Que todavía no conoces esta firma? ... Pues yo te la presento ;)

Today I had the pleasure of spending an evening in the showroom with Mariel of Manik   Your Design. What don't you know this brand? ... Well, I'll introduce you ;)

Manik your design (Manik YD) nace tras la pregunta, ¿por qué no tener lo que imaginamos? En muchas ocasiones, tenemos en mente el modelo que sería ideal para aquel vestido espectacular, pero es imposible que sea creado únicamente para mí. Manik quiere hacer realidad esos deseos, creando modelos personalizados especialmente para ti.

Manik your design (Manik YD) was born after the question, why not have what we imagine? In many cases,
we have in mind the model  which would be ideal for that stunning dress, but it is impossible to be created only for me. Manik wants to fulfill those desires, creating custom models just for you.

Manik YD te da la oportunidad de crear tu propio modelo desde la concepción del mismo, pasando por la elección de las pieles, tacones, suelas, entre otros tantos complementos hasta su fabricación final por un experto artesano que hará que  tu creación sea exclusiva.Es por ello que han desarrollado una herramienta en su página web para ayudarte a hacer  esto posible.

Manik YD  give you the opportunity to create your own model from conception of it, through the choice of
  leather, heels, soles, among many other additions to manufacturing end by an expert craftsman who will make your creation is unique. That is why they have developed a tool on its website to help you do this possible.

Además de zapatos de tacón y sandalias, puedes  puedes crear tus propias bailarinas y darles un toque romántico, atrevido, divertido, etc…

In addition to high heels and sandals, you can create your own ballerinas and give them a romantic, daring,
or  fun touch.

Tengo que decir que los zapatos son de fabricación española, lo cúal es sinónimo de calidad siempre. Además doy fé que son muy cómodos.  Y es que la vida cambia tras subirse a unos Manik :)

I have to say that the shoes are made in Spanish, which is synonymous with quality always. I also attest that are very comfortable. And is that life changes after wearing a pair of  Manik :)

Afterwork 7' in Hipotenûsa

7 minutos para inspirarnos es el lema de AfterWork 7, una nueva iniciativa que arrancó en Vigo en Abril con el propósito de relacionar mentes creativas de diferentes ámbitos. 5 almas creativas que nos desvelan el transfondo de su trabajo en 7 minutos durante encuentros que se realizan en diferentes espacios de Vigo.Afterwork es un espacio para compartir aquello que nos estimula y nos emociona.

7 minutes to inspire is the motto of afterwork 7, a new initiative that began in Vigo in April with the aim of linking creative minds from different fields. 5 creative souls we reveal the background of his work in 7 minutes for meetings that are held in different spaces Vigo.Afterwork is a space to share what motivates us and excites us.

En esta ocasión, el encuentro se realizó en el que ya es oficialmente el espacio más Chic de Vigo : " Hipotenûsa".

Violeta Janeiro es la impulsora de AfterWork7, que busca forjar una comunidad en la  que la gente creativa de distintas disciplinas de la  ciudad pueda conocerse e intercambiar ideas. Despues de trabajar en el mundo del arte en ciudades como Nueva York, Venecia y Shanghai, esta viguesa vuelve a su tierra, realizando encuentros con los que pretende replicar un formato similar al que desarrollo con gran éxito en Shangai, junto con una publicista inglesa y un fotógrafo hindú.

Violet  Janeiro is the driving AfterWork7, which seeks to forge a community in which creative people from different disciplines of the city can meet and exchange ideas.After worked in the art world in cities like New York, Venice and Shanghai, this Viguesa returns home, holding meetings with those wh want to replicate a similar format to that development with great success in Shanghai, along with an English publicist and photographer Hindu.

Simus Dolche es trotamundos de vocación, pero cocinero de profesión. Él nos explico su manera de entender la cocina más allá de lo que hay en el plato. Ocio, gastronomía y relaciones personales ¡sin salir de casa!. Un gran proyecto innovador en la ciudad y una nueva forma de disfrutar del arte culinario con este cocinero a domicilio, que además organiza cenas en su propia cocina,o como él lo denomina : " Secret Room", sin duda un lugar con encanto.

 Simus Dolche  is a Globetrotters, but cook by profession. He explained to us his understanding of the kitchen beyond what's on your plate. Entertainment, food and personal relationships without leaving home!. A major innovative project in the city and a new way to enjoy the culinary arts with this cook at home, which also organizes dinners in your own kitchen, or as he calls it: "Secret Room", certainly a charming place.

Piño Prego es un realizador vigués, que siempre consigue sorprendernos con algo nuevo, como un corto sobre el “Mono Paco” o vigópolis.com, un referente en Vigo para estar a la última con lo que pasa en la ciudad. Os lo recomiendo.

Piño Prego is a filmmaker sprockets Vigo, who always manages to surprise us with something new, like a short film about the "Mono Paco" or vigópolis.com, a reference in Vigo to keep up to date with what's happening in the city. I recommend it.

Alfredo Sirvent es un prestigioso arquitecto vigués ganador de varios premios, entre otros uno por la rehabilitación del Casco Viejo de nuestra hermosa ciudad. Alfredo nos habló  de “Procesos, atascos y transversalidades”.

Alfredo Sirvent is a prestigious architect  of Vigo , who is the winner of several awards, including one for the rehabilitation of the old part of our beautiful city. Alfredo told us about "Processes, jams and transversalities".

María Cortizo vuelca sus creaciones, gusto y saber hacer en su recién estrenado “El ático de Gran Vía 3”, un estudio-taller de diseño, confección y estilismo, dónde un grupo de profesionales que, tras varios años trabajando en multinacionales de moda, han creado su propia marca de complementos dirigida a mujeres que buscan algo especial. De una forma artesanal crean sus colecciones que se pueden adaptar a tus necesidades y gustos, ayudándote a elegir el material o el color que mejor se adecue a ti. Mediante un trato personalizado, pretenden que sus  diseños reflejen la personalidad y el estilo de cada una de vosotras. Su lema es :"No buscamos clientas, sino amigas, que aprecien y disfruten de unos diseños hechos pensando en ellas".

Cortizo Mary turns her creations, taste and know-how in its recently released "El Ático de  Gran Via 3", a design studio-workshop, clothing and styling, where a group of professionals who, after several years working in multinational fashion have created their own brand of accessories aimed at women looking for something special. Create a craft collections that can be tailored to your needs and preferences, helping you choose the material or color that best suits you. Through a personalized, claim that their designs reflect the personality and style of each of you. Their motto is: "We do not seek clients, but friends, who appreciate and enjoy thinking about designs made them".

 

Y por último, al son del hip hop, AID. Una joven cantante y compositora  que escribe hip hop. Esta joven cantante ha grabado varios videoclips y ha hecho campañas de publicidad con la TVG. Con su frescura y carisma, nos hizo disfrutar con algunas de sus letras, dónde refleja su lado más personal y su esencia. Un gran talento.

And finally, to the sound of hip hop, AID. A young singer and songwriter who writes hip hop.This young singer has recorded several music videos and has done advertising campaigns with TVG. With its freshness and charm, we did enjoy some of his lyrics, where staff reflects its side and its essence. A great talent.

Todos ellos nos transmitieron sus descubrimientos revolucionarios, como llegaron a ellos, como les impactaron y de que manera se reflejan en su trabajo.

Echamos en falta a Paula y Belén de la "Revista Galicia de Moda" que por compromisos no pudieron asistir al evento. Desde aquí un saludo y esperamos contar con vuestra presencia en otra ocasión.

Espero que os haya gustado esta iniciativa y disfrutaráis tanto del evento como yo. Hoy me despido, no sin antes deciros que ..." Las oportunidades de esta vida son para los valientes " :)
