Presentación "Ron 17 maio"

 

 

El jueves pasado tuve el placer de asistir a la fiesta de presentación de "Ron 17 Maio" en el Pub Garoa,Santiago de Compostela, un local de moda de la ciudad, lleno de solera y estilo que percibirás sin duda durante tu visita.

Last Thursday I had the pleasure of attending the launch party of "Ron 17 Maio" in the Pub Garoa, in Santiago de Compostela, a very  trendy  pub in the city.

"Ron 17 Maio" es un destilado añejo que quiere rendir tributo a tierras gallegas, a su cultura, y a su antigua tradición industrial licorera.

 

"Ron Maio 17" is a distillate old who wants to pay homage to Galicia, to its culture, and its old industrial tradition decanter.

 

 

El "Ron 17  Maio" pretende aúnar el homenaje a nuestras letras, personificadas en la obra y figura de Rosalía de Castro, nos comentaba Rafael Piñeiro de Coronas Galicia, responsables de la fabricación de la marca.

En el evento, se pudieron degustar los cócteles realizados con "Ron 17  Maio": 'Bastavales', compuesto por espuma de "Ron 17 de Maio" y menta con frutas exóticas, 'Iria Flavia', Mojito de "Ron 17 Maio", 'Laíño' elaborado con "Ron 17  Maio" con naranja, canela y vainilla, y por último 'Ulla', Caipirinha de "Ron 17 Maio".

La elaboración de los cócteles corrió por cuenta de Ana María Martínez, campeona de España de 'Gintonic Innovación', campeona Panamericana de Coctelería, y ganadora de la X edición del Campeonato Gallego de Coctelería Clásica.

 

The development of the cocktails was handled by Ana Maria Martinez, champion of Spain ' Gin Tonic Innovation' Cocktail, Pan-American champion, and winner of the tenth edition of Classic Championship Galician  Cocktails..

En el acto participaron Guillermo Campos, José Antonio Rivera (Chef Rivera) y también contó con la actuación especial de Aída Alonso (Aíd), que ya conocéis por mi anterior entrevista para Van Der Love. Aid interpretó algunos "Raps de Rosalía", de su disco "Rap poemas" , aunque también nos deleitó con el primer single de su nuevo disco " Hacer lo que quiero".

 

In attendance Guillermo Campos, Jose Antonio Rivera (Rivera Chef) and also featured a special performance of Aida Alonso (AID), who you already know by my previous interview in Van Der Lov Magazinee. Aid played some "Rosalie Raps" from her album "Rap poetry", although we were also enjoyed with the first single from her new album "Hacer lo que quiero".

Afterwork 7' in Hipotenûsa

7 minutos para inspirarnos es el lema de AfterWork 7, una nueva iniciativa que arrancó en Vigo en Abril con el propósito de relacionar mentes creativas de diferentes ámbitos. 5 almas creativas que nos desvelan el transfondo de su trabajo en 7 minutos durante encuentros que se realizan en diferentes espacios de Vigo.Afterwork es un espacio para compartir aquello que nos estimula y nos emociona.

7 minutes to inspire is the motto of afterwork 7, a new initiative that began in Vigo in April with the aim of linking creative minds from different fields. 5 creative souls we reveal the background of his work in 7 minutes for meetings that are held in different spaces Vigo.Afterwork is a space to share what motivates us and excites us.

Simus Dolche es trotamundos de vocación, pero cocinero de profesión. Él nos explico su manera de entender la cocina más allá de lo que hay en el plato. Ocio, gastronomía y relaciones personales ¡sin salir de casa!. Un gran proyecto innovador en la ciudad y una nueva forma de disfrutar del arte culinario con este cocinero a domicilio, que además organiza cenas en su propia cocina,o como él lo denomina : " Secret Room", sin duda un lugar con encanto.

 Simus Dolche  is a Globetrotters, but cook by profession. He explained to us his understanding of the kitchen beyond what's on your plate. Piño Prego es un realizador vigués, que siempre consigue sorprendernos con algo nuevo, como un corto sobre el “Mono Paco” o vigópolis.com, un referente en Vigo para estar a la última con lo que pasa en la ciudad. Os lo recomiendo.

Alfredo Sirvent es un prestigioso arquitecto vigués ganador de varios premios, entre otros uno por la rehabilitación del Casco Viejo de nuestra hermosa ciudad. Alfredo nos habló  de “Procesos, atascos y transversalidades”.

Alfredo Sirvent is a prestigious architect  of Vigo , who is the winner of several awards, including one for the rehabilitation of the old part of our beautiful city. Alfredo told us about "Processes, jams and transversalities".

Y por último, al son del hip hop, AID. Una joven cantante y compositora  que escribe hip hop. Esta joven cantante ha grabado varios videoclips y ha hecho campañas de publicidad con la TVG. Con su frescura y carisma, nos hizo disfrutar con algunas de sus letras, dónde refleja su lado más personal y su esencia. Un gran talento.

And finally, to the sound of hip hop, AID. A young singer and songwriter who writes hip hop.This young singer has recorded several music videos and has done advertising campaigns with TVG. With its freshness and charm, we did enjoy some of his lyrics, where staff reflects its side and its essence. A great talent.

Todos ellos nos transmitieron sus descubrimientos revolucionarios, como llegaron a ellos, como les impactaron y de que manera se reflejan en su trabajo.

Echamos en falta a Paula y Belén de la "Revista Galicia de Moda" que por compromisos no pudieron asistir al evento. Desde aquí un saludo y esperamos contar con vuestra presencia en otra ocasión.
