Tengo que decir que aunque esta temporada es tendencia total y todo un must have, yo lo llevo usando hace bastante tiempo,y me parece que es super femenino.

En 1975, Jeff Pink, fundador de ORLY, inventó el “look natural” en las uñas. Cuenta la historia, que los directores de cine querían un estilo de uñas versátil para complementar todo el guardarropa de las estrellas de Hollywood. Ellos estaban buscando un look que combinara con los diferentes cambios de vestuario que las actrices tenían que hacer en un jornada de trabajo.
In 1975, Jeff Pink, the ORLY founder, invented the "natural look" on the nails. History says that the filmmakers wanted a versatile nail style to compliment the entire wardrobe of the stars of Hollywood. They were looking for a look that combined with various costume changes that actresses had to do on a workday.
En ese entonces, las manicuristas cambiaban el color de las uñas varias veces al día para que combinaran con los diferentes vestuarios en el set. Como es posible imaginar, esto tomaba mucho tiempo y es así como el Sr. Pink resolvió este problema pintando las puntas de las uñas con esmalte blanco para luego cubrirlas con un bonito tono brillante y natural. Este “nail look” fue llevado a las pasarelas de moda en París donde tuvo mucha acogida y, por la aceptación que tuvo en Francia, decidió nombrar a su creación “Manicure Francesa”.
At that time, the manicurists changed the color of the nails several times a day to combine with different outfits on the set. As you can imagine, this took a long time and this is how Mr. Pink solved this problem by painting the nail tips with white enamel and then cover them with a nice bright tone and natural. This "nail look" was taken to the fashion shows in Paris where it was well received and on the acceptance was in France, decided to name to his creation "French Manicure".
